Important Milestones of Growth

K V Kalpetta started as a single section school in July 1997 with classes from I to V in the premises of SKMJ High School.

• It grew by adding one class each year and the 1st batch of class X passed out in 2003.
• Class XI Science stream was started with one section in 2004
• Vidyalaya was shifted to a temporary Building at Munderi in 2000.
• First batch of class XII passed out in 2006 with 100% results in the Board Exam.
• State government allotted 5 acres of land opposite to  Warehouse on the Kalpetta -Pinangode Road in March 2004.
• KVS started the school building construction in 2006.
• Revised estimate of the school building & staff Qtrs is Rs.5,49,71,571/-
• The vidyalaya got “Certificate of Excellence” and “Best performance Award” for the outstanding performance in 2006-07 and continuously in the years 2007-08 and 2008-09.
